Great Recorder : Itronics ITB-70G Car Black Box Dash Camera Video and Audio Recorder with GPS Record

I've had the camera for more approximately two weeks. Its very good quality. Easy to install in the car and easy to operate. I'm very satisfied with the video image quality. The software on the other hand is absolute garbage! It won't run for more than a few seconds before Windows says the schedule has stopped working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it some times, ran as an administrator, as a user, but nothing helps. I'm running the latest version of the software on Windows 7 Sp1 32bit.

I contacted the maker with help from the jobber but have had no response yet and more than a week has passed.

Luckily all the video is still playable without the software, however, one of the more curious aspects of the camera, the Gps is unavailable without the software.

It's a real shame such a nice piece of hardware is packaged with extremely poor capability software. I'm still debating either I want to remove it from the car and return the camera.

Updated (7/6/2011) I've subsequently discovered that the viewer software is incompatible with Internet Explorer 9. The viewer software was causing a fault in mshtml.dll which is part of Internet Explorer. I reverted my Pc to Internet Explorer 8 with an older version of mshtml.dll and now the viewer software works.

I'm planning to keep the camera.
